Nike Pulls Kobe Bryant Products From Website

In addition to resale stores taking steps to combat people profiting off of Kobe Bryant’s death, Nike has made a move in the wake of the basketball legend’s tragic passing.
After issuing an official statement earlier today in which it called Bryant one of the greatest athletes of his generation, Nike has pulled Kobe-related products from its website. As of press time, a search for “Kobe” on nike.com produces only Los Angeles Lakers-themed gift cards and redirects to the brand’s memorial message.
Sources are also telling Complex that Foot Locker has been asked to return Kobe product to the Swoosh, although some sneakers are still available from the company’s site.
Nike did not immediately return a request for comment.
