Kevin Durant Opens Up About His Decision to Join Warriors and Leave OKC

Kevin Durant linked up with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson for the latest episode of Showtime’s All The Smoke.
During the discussion, Durant touched on why he left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors.

“It didn’t matter if we had won or lost the series. I wanted to play there and live in the bay.”

Speaking of the Warriors, the team went up against the Nets on Wednesday night. Former teammates Durant and Steph Curry were both in attendance, though neither played, and shared a hug after the game.
Elsewhere in the episode, Durant talked about signing with the Brooklyn Nets, connecting with Kyrie Irving, and Twitter.
