Written by SOURCE on April 1, 2020
Some of the more highly anticipated Air Jordan releases that were scheduled to drop throughout the spring season have reportedly been rescheduled to a later date.
According to new info provided by sneaker leaker zSneakerheadz, sneakers receiving release date changes include the “DMP” Air Jordan VI Retro, the “Fire Red” Air Jordan V Retro, “Flint” Air Jordan XIII Retro, as well as new colorways like the “Court Purple” Air Jordan IV, Air Jordan XI Low Suede, and the “Top 3” Air Jordan V.
While many are speculating that the delays are linked to the COVID-19 outbreak, Jordan Brand has yet to confirm the reason behind the releases being pushed back. Sources at retail have speculated to Sole Collector that the release date push owes to coronavirus concerns, but none could say for certain that was the source of the delay.
Complex has reached out to Nike for a statement regarding the delays but has yet to receive comment.
