Florida Woman Arrested for Placing Eggs Stuffed With Porn in Mailboxes

A 42-year-old Florida woman has been arrested after she allegedly placed Easter eggs stuffed with porn into the mailboxes of her neighbors. As the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office revealed on Facebook, multiple residents had called to report obscene materials that had been put in their mailbox by a then-unidentified woman. Abril Cestoni, the woman responsible for planting the pornography, admitted to the crime and has been arrested.
Cestoni reportedly distributed over 400 pamphlets feature explicit imagery over the past week. Police said that she did not have any symptoms of COVID-19, so it wasn’t some sort of elaborate ploy to spread the virus. “Our team did a great job in tracking this deranged offender down and taking her into custody,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Thankfully she did not appear to be sick with COVID-19 symptoms, but she certainly needs some help. This again proves that ‘see something, say something’ works and we thank the community for being part of our guardianship policing philosophy.”
She was arrested on Thursday after the reports of eggs filled with porn started to increase. Cestoni said the distribution of the pamphlets was part of a campaign she had come up with to educate people on churches and pastors to give money to those who need it. “Abril stated she was ‘a church’ and had a business license,” her arrest report reads. “She certainly has a bizarre almost zealous opinion of churches and what they should believe in and how they should teach the teachings of the bible,” added Staly.
Residents said the eggs included a fish-shaped cracker, a sheet of toilet paper, an unspecified powdered drink mix, and a pornographic image. “In my career, it’s a pretty bizarre case,” said Staly. She has been charged with violating the stay-at-home order in Florida, and 11 counts of distributing obscene material.
