Khloé Kardashian Pays for Seniors’ Groceries at Los Angeles Area Stores

Written by on April 18, 2020

Khloé Kardashian is lending a hand to some of the most high-risk groups for COVID-19.

The 35-year-old reality star reportedly spent the past week traveling to Los Angeles-area grocery stores to pay for elderly shoppers’ groceries. According to TMZ, Kardashian made stops at various Ralphs and Trader Joe’s locations during senior hours, a designated shopping time—typically the first hour of business—specifically for senior citizens and other vulnerable groups.

Sources tell the outlet Kardashian also gave back to supermarket employees, providing them with gift cards they could use to purchase essentials during the coronavirus pandemic. It’s unclear how many shoppers and workers benefited from Kardashian’s generosity.

Other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have also used their platform and resources to assist COVID-19 relief efforts. Kim Kardashian-West announced her SKIMS shapewear brand would donate $1 million to families affected by the crisis; she also pledged to donate 20 percent of the profits from the SKIMS Cotton Collection sales.

Kim’s husband, Kanye West, has also donated to the Chicago-based charity We Women Empowered, which has been making food deliveries to the senior citizen populations. Kylie Jenner gave $1 million to Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Medical Center for much-needed personal protective equipment, such as masks and face shields.
