Nike LeBron 3 Retro ‘Black/Gold’ AO2434-001 Release Date

Last month, Nike dropped the “Christ the King” LeBron 3 PEs out of nowhere exclusively in New York City. It looks like Nike will be continuing to give King James’ third signature the retro treatment because images have surfaced of the OG “Black/Gold” colorway.
Originally released in 2006, this LeBron 3 features a black nubuck upper, leather strap overlays, and is accented by various gold hits throughout. Details like a shiny black Swoosh outlined in gold on the lateral heel, LeBron’s original “LJ23” logo on the medial side, a red Swoosh on the outsole, and lion’s head logo on the tongue complete the premium colorway.
An official release date has yet to be announced, but expect the “Black/Gold” Nike LeBron 3 to hit select retailers before year’s end for $175.
