Arkansas Football Players Suspended for Flirting With Mississippi State Dance Team Before Game

Written by on November 20, 2018

On Monday, Arkansas coach Chad Morris announced that a pair of defensive backs, Kamren Curl and Ryan Pulley, will not participate in the Razorbacks’ final game (which is against Missouri this Friday) after they were caught socializing with Mississippi State dance team members prior to kickoff this past Saturday. A local reporter said that the two were chatting it up and taking pics with the MSU spirit squad members during pregame warm-ups. Arkansas went on to get walloped in that game by a score of 52-6.

Now, to be fair, Morris didn’t specify why Curl and Pulley were suspended, but he did state that the duo “will not be here today or yesterday or any part of this week for unacceptable behavior—actions that are completely unacceptable to anything we’re about ” So, uh, it’s not too hard to connect the dots here.

The 2-9 Razorbacks have really sucked this season, which you already figured when you saw that 2-9 at the start of this sentence. They’re currently 0-7 in the SEC, and their two wins have come over Tulsa and FCS opponent Eastern Illinois so…can it really get that much worse? Curl, a sophomore, has started all 11 of the team’s games at safety this season while Pulley, a junior, has logged nine starts at cornerback.
