Here’s the First Teaser Trailer for Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ Remake

Disney fans now have another reason to give thanks: The studio has released the first official trailer for Jon Favreau’s The Lion King remake. The live-action iteration will feature an all-star cast that includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Billy Eichner as Timon, and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa.
You can check out the preview in the video above. The Lion King will hit U.S. theaters July 19, 2019.
