The Allbirds ‘Sustain This’ Event In NYC Is All About Living Green

Recently Complex News’ Natasha Martinez stopped by Allbird’s New York City event in the Lower East Side to check out their unique experience, combining food, fashion and sustainability. While there, she spent time with Street artist WRDSMTH, Dead Prez’s stic.man and his wife and nutritionist Afya, and celebrity stylist and social activist Ugo Mozie as they contributed to the ‘Sustain This’ experience. She also checked out the Tree Topper—their first ever high top sneaker, made from Brazilian sugarcane.

‘Sustain This’ is all about how small changes in lifestyle—from clothes to recycling—can start to implement change one step at a time. With this event Allbirds wanted to “celebrate artists who prioritize sustainably as they seek to perfect their craft.”
