Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande, and Tame Impala to Headline Coachella

Coachella has announced who has next after Beychella. Childish Gambino will headline Friday, psychedelic band Tame Impala has Saturday, and Ariana Grande closes the festivities on Sunday.
Both Childish Gambino and Tame Impala have spent 2018 building anticipation. The artist born Donald Glover hosted Saturday Night Live, claimed his first No. 1 hit with “This Is America,” and embarked on an accompanying tour as fans waited on what’s supposed to be his last album as Childish Gambino. Tame Impala have also been doing shows as they work on their follow-up to 2016’s Currents. Ariana Grande released Sweetener last August, but had to overcome a tumultuous couple of months that included the death of her ex Mac Miller and a split with fiancé Pete Davidson. Her most recent hit, “Thank U, Next,” still reigns as the country’s No. 1 song.
Coachella’s other performers include Solange, Janelle Monáe, Kid Cudi, Juice WRLD, J Balvin, Pusha-T, Khalid, Jaden Smith, Playboi Carti, and dozens more. See the lineup below. Passes go on sale on Friday, 11 a.m. PST/2 p.m. EST.
