J. Cole Ignites Hype by Wiping His Instagram

J. Cole surprised a lot of fans when he suddenly announced the rapid release of KOD last year, and now it would seem as though he’s gearing up for another sudden drop. Fans have begun speculating that new music from the rapper is imminent, with him completely wiping his Instagram page.
J. Cole’s label Dreamville Records recently confirmed that they had wrapped up the recording sessions for their new collaborative album, Revenge of the Dreams III. They’ve been building hype for the project by inviting some high-profile musicians, encouraging them to share their invitations on social media. Since then, Cole has kept quiet.
Dreamville’s President Ibrahim Hamad did give fans a preview of new J. Cole however, leaking a snippet of an unreleased song on his Instagram story.
With all the posts from Cole’s Instagram now gone, it’s likely that the release of the highly anticipated record is coming very soon. Hamad said that over 100 songs were recorded during the ten days they gathered everyone in the studio. Considering Revenge of the Dreamers II only had nine songs, it sounds as though there’s a lot of editing to be done.
