A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Offers Ex-Girlfriend a Public Apology

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie took to Instagram to send a public apology to his ex-girlfriend Ella Rodriguez and plead for a second chance.
HotNewHipHop has pointed out that the public spat goes back a few weeks to when he said that he want to see his daughter Melody again. “I miss Melody odee rn,” he said. “[It] seems like everything is trying to stop me from seeing her smh.”
Since then, he has been relatively quiet about the topic. However, many speculate that the former couple took subliminal shots at each other on Instagram, A Boogie’s post (captioned “SuperDad”) featured a picture with Ella cropped out, while Ella’s post (captioned “SuperMom”) featured the same picture, with the rapper cropped out.
Now, the “Look Back At It” rapper has decided to pour his emotions into his latest Instagram post, publicly apologizing to the mother of his child.
“Smh it really takes losing what you have to love and appreciate what you had,” he begins. He continues by apologizing for his past transgressions, stating that he does not intend to disrespect her in any way shape, or form ever again. “You will always be my best friend and true love at heart!”
Though he has received public support from the likes of Casanova, Lala Anthony, and O.T. Genasis (who all commented on the post), many people are not buying his apology.
A Boogie, who was recently announced as a part of the Summer Jam lineup, has seen success in recent months. His album Hoodie SZN debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. In its third week, it ascended to the No. 1 spot. In the 15 weeks since its release, it has managed to stay in the top 10.
