Ahluwalia Studio Launches an Exclusive Capsule for Browns

Browns continues their Concious direction with the launch of an exclusive capsule collection from Priya Ahluwalia’s Ahluwalia Studio.
Earlier this year Browns made their stance on sustainability very clear, launching Conscious to better direct consumers towards brands, designers, and initiatives that are putting the right foot forward towards a more sustainable fashion industry. Part of the ongoing movement is the launch of a series of exclusive collaborations and collection’s from some of the industries leading, and rising stars, with the first delivered courtesy of Ahluwalia Studio. The brainchild of the University of Westminster’s Menswear masters graduate Priya Ahluwalia, the brand has been heralded across the industry due to the designer’s use of recycled materials to create beautiful, modern apparel inspired by her dual Indian-Nigerian heritage rooted in London.
Working with second hand and deadstock clothing, Ahluwalia Studio utilises a range of textile techniques to breathe new life into once loved product. For her exclusive capsule collection for Browns, Priya looks to a selection of literary works such as “The Black House” by Colin Jones and “Clarks in Jamaica” by Al Fingers.
The exclusive capsule collection by Ahluwalia Studio is available at Browns boutiques in London, Browns Berlin, and online as part of the ongoing Browns Conscious edit.
