Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘Black/White/Taxi/Black’ 130690-017 Release Date

The “Taxi” Air Jordan 12 is without a doubt one of the model’s most beloved colorways. Having first released in 1996 and last re-released in 2003, the white-and-black style was rumored to release in 2017 and then expected to drop last year, although neither retro materialized. While it remains to be seen when the OG make up will reappear, there’s a new spin on the sneaker coming soon.
According to @zsneakerheadz, a “Reverse Taxi” Air Jordan 12 is coming in November. In-hand images aren’t yet available, but a mock-up was provided which is said to accurately depict the upcoming colorway. The upper is covered in black and uses nubuck rather than the leather seen on the traditional “Taxi.” A white outsole adds contrast, while the style’s signature gold eyelets are matched with an added hit of taxi yellow across the tongue branding.
With a retail price of $190, this “Reverse Taxi” Air Jordan 12 is expected to drop Saturday, Nov. 9.
