Apple is set to unveil the latest iteration of the iPhone before the end of the year, and now we know exactly when that will happen. As Forbes reports, the company officially sent out invitations to a keynote event on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California, and the technology giant is expected to reveal the iPhone 11.
The new iPhones will likely release less than two weeks after the event, with a previously rumored release date pointing toward Sept. 20. Apple is also expected to reveal new Apple Watches, iPads, and MacBooks among other products at the event.
Rumors regarding the features of the latest iPhone have been circulating for months now, with Apple predicted to reveal multiple models of the iPhone 11. It’s expected that there will be the regular iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. While it’s far from confirmed that there will be three models, Apple leaks prior to launch tend to line-up relatively close to the truth. Rumored specs have indicated that there won’t be any dramatic design changes, but they will have improved internal hardware and better cameras.
Technology YouTuber Maques Brownlee also speculated that the colors of the Apple logo on the invitation resembled that of the original iMac for a reason.
We’ll have more details on what to expect from the next iPhones on Sept. 10.
