Two of the biggest stars in music have joined forces for a good cause.
At midnight Friday, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber released the video for “Stuck With U,” a charity track that will benefit children of frontline workers. The artists announced all net proceeds from the single will go toward grants and scholarships for kids of firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and healthcare workers who have served during the global health crisis.
“We wanted to show our gratitude to the men and women on the front lines who work tirelessly for our health and safety during this crisis,” the artists’ longtime manager Scooter Braun said in a statement. “They are the everyday heroes and now more than ever they and their families deserve our support.”
The collaboration was coordinated by Scooter’s entertainment SB Projects. The music executive told CNN he and his team “look forward to continuing our tradition of charitable releases over the next year.”
“We’re very excited about this for so many reasons,” Grande said. “We hope we make a big difference with this and we hope it uplifts you and makes you feel happy and that you love it as much as we do. We’ve had a really great time working on this and we’re so excited for you to hear it.”
In the days leading up to the “Stuck With U” premiere, Grande and Bieber called on their fans to send videos of them dancing to the song’s previously released instrumentals. Those who submitted got the chance to appear in the official “Stuck With U” music video, which can be viewed above.
“Stuck With U” is available to stream now on all major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.
