Armie Hammer’s Lawyer Addresses Claim of Actor Working at Hotel

You’ve no doubt seen the chatter surrounding the current whereabouts of Armie Hammer, namely a widely shared flyer suggesting the actor made a shift in his employment status by working at a hotel in the Cayman Islands. Of course, this is not true.
Amid the social media attention being given to the Morritt’s Resort flyer, which included a photo of Hammer and billed him as “your personal concierge,” a lawyer for the actor has addressed the viral image. Per a report from Variety, attorney Andrew Brettler has confirmed the flyer is “fake.”
Furthermore, the publication said it spoke with an employee at the hotel in question, who informed them the flyer was part of a prank. In short, Hammer is said to be friends with workers at the establishment. Some of these individuals reportedly printed up the fake flyers and distributed them to a few rooms, resulting in the viral image.
Desus & Mero segment producer Muna Mire recently shared a photo of the flyer to Twitter, saying a friend’s parents had received a copy of it while on vacation. The tweet was later deleted.
The viral concierge prank revived attention on the actor, who has been largely absent from the public eye following abuse and assault allegations (as well as accusations of fetishizing cannibalism), which he has denied.
