Arrest Warrant Issued for Adrien Broner in Florida

29-year-old Adrien Broner is once again facing legal troubles, TMZ reports.
An arrest warrant was issued for the boxer in Florida after he failed to appear in Broward County court on Wednesday. Broner was arrested for speeding, not having a driver’s license, registration or proof of insurance. The reason for the court date was an arrest that took place back in Dec. of 2017. Bleacher Report points out that it’s the third time Broner has failed to show up to court for this particular case.
Back in April of 2017, the boxer was arrested for having an open warrant in connection to three-year-old public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges. Back in Dec. of 2018, news broke that Broner was being sued over unpaid jewelry. At the time, TMZ reported that Pristine Jewelers NY was looking to recoup $1.152 million for the jewelry itself and an additional $1 million in damages.
The news of the Florida arrest warrant comes on the heels of Broner’s fight with 40-year-old Manny Pacquiao. Broner lost the fight by unanimous decision. Despite said unanimous decision, Broner strongly felt that he was the victor of the contest.
