ASAP Ferg Releases His ‘Floor Seats’ EP f/ ASAP Rocky, City Girls, and More

ASAP Ferg is finishing 2019 on a strong note.
After months of teasers and string of singles, the Harlem rapper has released his Floor Seats EP, his first full-length project since 2017’s Still Striving. Ferg spoke about the release during the inaugural ComplexCon Chicago, and said it would include more women.
“It’s been a demographic that I feel, like, I haven’t really tapped into or really focused on,” he said. “And then when I witnessed what ‘Plain Jane’ did with Nicki (Minaj), it kind of opened my mind up to, like, ‘Oh wow, this is how I can turn up with a woman.’ I always thought a woman song was gotta to be kind of slow and kind of soft, but I can keep the energy up and turn up with a woman, as well. I figured out a way to do it.”
Floor Seats features nine tracks and includes contributions from City Girls, Rico Nasty, ANTHABEE, and ASAP Rocky.
You can listen to the EP now on all major platforms.
Ferg is scheduled to kick off his North American YEDI Tour this fall with special guests Murda Beatz and MadeinTYO. The first show will go down Nov. 7 in Pittsburgh, followed by stop in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston, Toronto, and NYC.
