Audio Intercepted of Russian Soldiers Discussing Killing Civilians

Audio of Russian soldiers discussing killing civilians and soldiers in Ukraine has been intercepted, as first reported by Der Spiegel and picked up by CNN.
Radio communications, which Germany’s foreign intelligence service told a parliamentary committee that it got a hold of earlier this week, seemingly implicate Russian troops in war crimes int he audio recovered by the BND, In the audio, troops discuss the killing of civilians in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha, which could be tied to an apparent massacre that took place in the area.
The Washington Post reports an unnamed intelligence official sharing that satellite images from Germany imply the involvement of Russian troops in those killings. A German government spokesperson declined to comment about the audio reports, per CNN.
In one audio clip, which the Security Service of Ukraine released, a soldier identifies a car with two civilians, before a voice saying to “fucking kill them all, for fuck’s sake” comes in. This is just one of multiple audio clips that the Security Service has shared. Another clip—shown above—features a soldier discussing the raping of civilians, one specifically who was “16 years old.”
Earlier this week, at least 50 evacuees were killed in a Russian missile attack on the Kramatorsk train station in Ukraine. Five of those killed were children and The Independent reports that thousands of people were present at the station during the attack.
