Bad Bunny’s ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ Spends Fourth Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200

Written by on July 10, 2022

Bad Bunny’s latest full-length offering, Un Verano Sin Ti, has scored a fourth nonconsecutive week atop the Billboard 200, per Billboard.

The Puerto Rican artist’s fourth solo studio album lands at No. 1 on the chart for the second straight week, earning 111,000 equivalent album units. Released back in May, Un Verano Sin Ti is Bad Bunny’s second No. 1 album, following 2020’s El Último Tour Del Mundo. His first two LPs, 2018’s X 100pre and 2020’s YHLQMDLG, peaked at No. 11 and No. 2, respectively.

Un Verano Sin Ti has now earned at least 100,000 equivalent album units in each of the nine weeks since its release, a milestone that hasn’t been hit since Drake’s 2016 album Views, which accomplished the feat in its first 10 weeks of release.

Meanwhile, Un Verano Sin Ti has remained in the top-2 spots on the Billboard 200 since its release, another feat that hasn’t been notched since Drake, whose 2021 effort Certified Lover Boy spent nine weeks in the top two spots last fall.

The other three albums comprising the top-4 spots on the Billboard 200 this week are former No. 1s: Harry Styles’ Harry’s House slots in at No. 2 on the strength of 54,000 equivalent album units; Drake’s polarizing seventh studio album Honestly, Nevermind remains at No. 3, with 52,000 equivalent album units; and Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album rises from eighth to fourth after moving 50,000 equivalent album units.
