Bape Celebrates Miami Store Opening With Special Collection
Written by SOURCE on December 4, 2019
Bape is expanding its U.S. presence. On Tuesday, the Japanese-based streetwear brand announced it was launching a store in Miami’s Design District, a unique community known for its architecture and art. The flagship, which was recently teased on Instagram, will open its doors this weekend as people from around the world flock to the city for Art Basel.
In celebration of the opening, Bape will drop a special collection inspired by the Miami spirit. The range will include a shark full-zip hoodie, an open collar shirt, trunks, tees, mesh caps, bucket hats, keychains, and iPhone cases. Bold colors and art deco influences are seen throughout the range, as well as graphics that nod to the city’s beach life—like flamingos, flowers, and even Baby Milo riding a dolphin.
You can check out the special collection in the lookbook below. The Bape Miami shop—located at 137 NE 39th St.—will officially open Dec. 7.
