Sabrina Carpenter’s the middle of starting over spends 10 week at 1. Plus Nicki Minaj and Bruno Mars debut in my top 10 and even Becky G earns her first top 3 this week for me.

Plus the first to reach 10 weeks since Zara Larson‘s Lush Life. Sabrina ties Ariana Grande 7 Rings with each having 10 weeks at 1. Ariana Grande 7 Rings’s did it back in 2019 with 10 non consecutive weeks at 1. And now Sabrina Carpenter ties her with 10 non consecutive weeks at 1 with The Middle of Starting Over. The Middle of starting Over is one week away from tying driver’s License, Stereo Hearts and We Found Love.)
Believe it or not, this is Bruno’s first solo #1 hit since ‘That’s What I Like’ in 2017. Thank goodness for him because the rest of the Top 10 seems kind of boring beyond that.
Fantastic to see ‘I Just Might’ at the top. It may not be dissimilar to what Bruno’s done before, but it’s the smooth and upbeat jam that the charts desperately needed. It almost feels like a throwback with how it could’ve fit into the 1970s era of soul and disco. Congratulations to him on a 10th #1 hit!
