Billionaire Boys Club EU Took to Rotterdam to Present “SEEING SOUNDS”

Written by on July 23, 2019

Billionaire Boys Club EU recently took to Rotterdam to curate the “SEEING SOUNDS” exhibition alongside concept space ANSH46.

Pioneers of attitude-heavy style that lives and breathes amongst all creative mediums, Billionaire Boys Club EU brought the wide-spanning world to life alongside ANSH46. The collaborative installation embodied everything we’ve come to love – past, present and future – from the brand from soft furnishings to audio, film, toys, furniture, and of course, clothing.

Commenting on the direction of the installation and its titling, Ross Westland, Creative Director BBC/ICECREAM EUROPE said: “Synesthesia is a condition, in which one sense (i.e. hearing) is simultaneously perceived as if one or more senses, such as sight. This installation brings to fruition the paradox of time and space, the poise of street and luxury, art and design, and the unique, colourful history of Billionaire Boys Club – intrinsically linked to music and space. At a time when there was no such thing as a luxury street brand – BBC/ICECREAM was the gatekeeper to taste, lifestyle and wealth of the ‘heart & mind’. The film, art, toys and furniture each play a complementary note to the collective chord and harmony of BBC/ICECREAM, inviting the audience to simultaneously see our world and hear our sounds.”

In true BBC fashion, the exhibition also delivered an exclusive run of ANSH46 collaborative t-shirts and sticker pack. Take a peek inside the SEEING SOUNDS exhibition below, and head over to BBC EU to shop the new Fall 2019 Collection now.
