Blade Brown & K-Trap Offer First Taste Of Joint Mixtape With “6 Figures”
Written by SOURCE on March 4, 2022
All the way back in July last year, South London rap giant Blade Brown confirmed in an interview that a joint mixtape with K-Trap was headed our way. It’s something fans have been crying out for after the pair swapped features on Bags & Boxes 4 and Street Side Effects, and the tape’s rollout has now officially begun with the release of its first single “6 Figures”.
There aren’t too many details on the project just yet, but the new track bodes well. Produced by Aaron Or Age and Cage Got That Cold, “6 Figures” is a dark and icy, late-night rap joint that finds common territory between K-Trap’s new-school sound and Blade’s classic darkness.
Naturally, the track comes complete with some visuals and they’ve called on Romael for director duties. Switching between on-road shots and scenes in a plush apartment, it’s an unfussy display that keeps the spotlight on the two rappers as they take turns exchanging rhymes, popping bottles and showing off their kettles.
Tune in at the top and then add “6 Figures” to your playlists.
