Blueface Responds to Fans Who Are Upset Over Wack 100’s Nipsey Hussle Comments

Written by on November 13, 2019

Blueface is catching heat over comments made by his manager, Wack 100, about Nipsey Hussle. This prompted Blueface to remind his critics that he’s never said a word about the late rapper.

“Till this day I haven’t said one word about nip idk y y’all mad at me,” Blueface wrote before once again letting it be known where he’s from. “Sycooyardcryp.” He followed up these comments by channeling his inner Rico from Paid in Full

Last week, Wack 100 and Blueface made a joint appearance on the No Jumper podcast. This turned into headlines following the matter of fact manner in which Wack spoke about Nipsey Hussle’s death and the response to his murder.

“Gang culture is different from religious culture. It’s different from, you know Jewish culture. Every culture is different, and in that jungle the rules change. Now, are the rules irrational? Damn right. Are they right? Probably not, but these are the rules of this jungle,” Wack said. This was in response to remarks he made in an audio clip where he claimed that Nipsey’s killer, Eric Holder, respected the “rules of engagement” during the incident that left Hussle dead.

Wack then went on to tell No Jumper Nipsey isn’t a “legend” and all the support surrounding Hussle since his death is fueled by false intentions.

“All these radio stations, all these people is all fake,” Wake continued. “I can speak on it because I was part of the Nipsey Hussle movement getting him his first multi-million dollar deal… You got a man who died with a million followers and no radio hit and no fucking platinum plaques. But because everyone start talking like it’s a goddamn Popeyes chicken sandwich… So where was all these fans?… He didn’t die an A-list artist. Y’all talking about he’s a legend. If he’s a legend why didn’t y’all treat him like that when he was here?… I feel like Nipsey should have been a bigger artist personally. But where the hell was all you diehard fans when Nipsey needed you to support his product?”

Like Blueface explained in his tweet, the rapper didn’t chime in while Wack spoke about Nipsey. Yet he was laughing and can be heard whispering: “I’m only staying because it’s going viral.” Blueface’s near-silence didn’t stop him from catching residual backlash from Nipsey’s supporters.

On Saturday, Nipsey Hussle’s artist, Killa Twan, put his feelings towards Blueface in the open.

“On NicKersons I’ll fuck over @bluefacebleedem in a head up squabble,” the rapper tweeted. “LiL nigga betta watch his muhhfuckin mouf… him & wack!!”

This isn’t the first time Blueface has caught heat over Nipsey Hussle. When Hussle passed, people were looking for Blueface to tweet his condolences. The rapper was receiving a lot of outside pressure from people who assumed that he and Nipsey were either close/knew each other because they were both Crips. While explaining the gang mentality to No Jumper, Wack also addressed why Blueface didn’t immediately say rest in peace to Hussle

“He don’t know him. Never talked, never had a conversation,” Wack said. “And the fact of the matter is their two neighborhoods—for 25 years—have been on and off enemies. So him not saying nothing is really him showing respect.”
