The Sixers could have a lot more riding on Sunday’s Game 7 against Toronto than a trip to the conference finals. The New York Times reports that head coach Brett Brown is expected to be fired if his team loses.

Although these past two years have ended in Philadelphia’s best season records in years, both could potentially end at the conference semifinals. The Sixers—centered around stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons—were expected to make a run to the top in the LeBron James-less Eastern Conference. The pressure is on Brown, but of course, it won’t be entirely his fault if they do lose the series: Kawhi Leonard has been averaging 33.7 points and 10.2 rebounds this series.

Along with potentially filling a vacant coaching position, Philly also has to answer the questions surrounding several key players. The Sixers have the possibility of losing Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris, and J.J. Redick to free agency. There’s also been criticism aimed at Simmons’ inconsistent postseason numbers; some have even suggested that the Sixers ought to look into trading him.
