Cardi B Shares Another Look at Her New Fashion Nova Collaboration

Cardi B is turning her love for Fashion Nova into profit.
The Bronx-bred rapper will launch her first collaboration with the fast-fashion brand in just a few hours. But before she unleashes the 80-piece range, Cardi has given Vogue another sneak peek at what’s to come.
The capsule will include everything from outerwear and dresses to knits and two-piece suits. Cardi told Vogue the collection was inspired by vintage designs that will be perfect for the cold-weather months.
“They are things that I see myself wearing, like in the ’60s and the ’70s,” she says. “I was thinking a lot about what would I wear in the falltime, like we have a lot of jackets, we have a lot dark colors, a lot of mustards, belting, a lot of blues. Nothing so bright. I love bright things but I was like, ‘I don’t think people want to wear a lot of bright s**t in the wintertime.'”
Cardi will introduce her Fashion Nova collection with a mini concert in Los Angeles tonight. The event will include appearances by City Girls, Dreamdoll, Saweetie, Brianna Perry, and more. Fans can livestream the concert on Fashion Nova’s website.
