I heard it was gonna be rough for me so I don’t really speak on that. N***a might pop up downstairs.”</p> <p>As previously reported, DaniLeigh’s brother—<a target="_blank" href="https://www.complex.com/music/danileigh-brother-dababy-been-different" rel="noopener">Brandon Bills</a>—is said to have <a target="_blank" href="https://www.complex.com/music/dababy-lawyer-argues-lawsuit-from-danileigh-brother-over-bowling-alley-fight-is-quick-money-grab" rel="noopener">filed suit</a> against DaBaby over the bowling alley fight, footage of which was widely shared on social media last month.</p> <p>According to DaBaby’s most recent comments, he made a point to stay out of the <a target="_blank" href="http://complex.com/tag/los-angeles" rel="noopener">Los Angeles</a> area for several months due to comments made by Bills. Asked around the 31:44 mark how the situation affects his and DaniLeigh’s daughter, the recent <a target="_blank" href="https://www.complex.com/music/kanye-west-on-why-he-threw-microphone-during-donda-2-event" rel="noopener"><em>Donda 2</em></a> event guest explained his stance on this “unfortunate” aspect of recent developments.</p> <p>“That’s unfortunate. … That ain’t the way we play, like, I ain’t fixing to play with nothing tied to … my kid. My side, we don’t rock like that. Per the report, a “lack of evidence” resulted in the case being rejected. A probe into DaBaby, for assault with a deadly weapon, has since been launched by authorities. </p> <p>As for how the fight itself started, a witness told TMZ that Bills first tried to talk with DaBaby and “told him he didn’t appreciate how Baby had treated DaniLeigh in the past.” A mechanic ended up scrubbing the floor for hours and spending $250 in cleaning supplies to clean up a drink DaBaby reportedly threw, and the bowling lanes had to be re-oiled. </p> <section class="suitcase-ad" /> <p>Bills had in previous social media posts, said that he would fight DaBaby when he saw him. During the livestream, the Charlotte, North Carolina rapper <a target="_blank" href="https://www.complex.com/music/dababy-calls-police-on-danileigh-films-her-feeding-their-child-amid-instagram-live-fight/" rel="noopener">appeared to film DaniLeigh</a> as she breastfed their child, and when she asked him why he was filming he replied that it was for his “safety.”</p> <p>On her Instagram Story, DaniLeigh has once again addressed the ongoing drama and thanked her fans for reaching out with concern. “I appreciate y’all DMs,” she wrote. “And the stories y’all are sharing with me… I see a lot of women relating to me… And I can’t wait to inspire more and to grow into the woman I’m supposed to be … Thank you for your love and motivation.”</p> <p>The two released statements on the matter in its immediate aftermath, with DaBaby claiming in a statement that also promoted his new EP and tour that Dani “beat … and yelled at and chased around” him. In short, DaBaby filmed DaniLeigh while she was feeding their infant daughter during a live broadcast. In a subsequent clip, DaniLeigh said DaBaby “called the fucking cops on me” and was trying to get her out of the house.</p> <p>In a more recent statement that was no longer appearing on DaniLeigh’s IG at the time of this writing, the songwriter and choreographer shared a “last thing” she wanted to clarify. According to a pair of Stories updates, DaniLeigh didn’t initially leave the house because she has no friends or family in the Charlotte area.
