[…]]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><br /> </p> <div> <p>The return of <a target="_blank" href="http://complex.com/tag/skrillex" rel="noopener">Skrillex</a> continues with the unveiling of a second new track, with the Grammy-winning artist this time enlisting <a target="_blank" href="http://complex.com/tag/pinkpantheress" rel="noopener">PinkPantheress</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://complex.com/tag/trippie-redd" rel="noopener">Trippie Redd</a>. </p> <p>Friday, Skrillex rolled out the new song “Way Back,” available above via YouTube.</p> <p>“Way Back” was preceded earlier this week with the long-teased unveiling of “Rumble,” a collab featuring <a target="_blank" href="http://complex.com/tag/fred-again" rel="noopener">Fred again..</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://complex.com/tag/flowdan" rel="noopener">Flowdan</a>. Hear that below.</p> <p>Notably, the formal “Rumble” rollout follows its teasing during Fred’s run of sets prior to his widely acclaimed Boiler Room set, which marked his debut on the platform. The Fred set in question was quickly regarded as an all-timer and has amassed over 12 million views since its premiere last July.</p> <section class="suitcase-ad" /> <p>Skrillex’s “Way Back” collaborator PinkPantheress, meanwhile, launched a Boiler Room set of her own in December. </p> <p>Expected at some point this year is a new full-length from Skrillex, who teased fans earlier this month with an Instagram post suggesting that the release could be rolled out as a double album.</p> <section class="suitcase-ad" /> <p>Whether double or not, the album will mark his first new solo full-length in nearly nine years. In 2014, Skrillex shared his debut studio album <em>Recess</em>, which was preceded by a string of hit EPs including <em>Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites</em> and its follow-up <em>More Monsters and Sprites</em>. A titan in grime and, in the latter part of his career, a revitalising force in the world of D&B MCing, Stormin’s legacy is huge and still being felt today.</p> <p>To mark the anniversary, his old friend and long-time collaborator <a href="https://www.complex.com/tag/sir-spyro" target="_self" rel="noopener">Sir </a><a href="https://www.complex.com/tag/sir-spyro" target="_self" rel="noopener">Spyro</a> has put together a new track called “WISH”, which features some previously unheard vocals he laid down under his <a href="https://www.complex.com/tag/teddy-bruckshot" target="_self" rel="noopener">Teddy </a><a href="https://www.complex.com/tag/teddy-bruckshot" target="_self" rel="noopener">Bruckshot</a> alias alongside <a href="https://www.complex.com/tag/killa-p" target="_self" rel="noopener">Killa P</a>, <a href="https://www.complex.com/tag/flowdan" target="_self" rel="noopener">Flowdan</a> and Stormin’s brother, <a href="https://www.complex.com/tag/black-steve" target="_self" rel="noopener">Black Steve</a>.</p> <p>As you’ve probably guessed, given that combination of MCs, it’s another ragga-leaning banger of the “<a href="https://www.complex.com/music/2016/10/sir-spyro-teddy-bruckshot-lady-chann-killa-p-topper-top-video" target="_self" rel="noopener">Topper Top</a>” variety. Posthumous releases can be a tricky affair and aren’t easily pulled off, but Spyro’s a safe pair of hands here, conjuring the same lightning-in-a-bottle energy that made their signature hit with Killa P and Lady Chann such a hall-of-fame classic.</p> <p>Hit play on the animated visuals up top to see Teddy, Steve, Killa P, Flowdan and Spyro square off against some heavily-armed government suits.
