DJ Envy is calling out his former co-host Angela Yee.

The Breakfast Club DJ hit up Instagram on Friday night to respond to Yee’s recent interview on the Tamron Hall Show. The sit-down focused on Yee’s exit from the popular radio show and her experience as the sole female host. She told Hall that it was difficult working exclusively with men, as she often felt like a lack of support.

“I was the only woman who worked there, too; I mean when it came to producers, camera people—and it wasn’t an easy room for me to be in,” she said around the 7:50-minute mark. “I feel like I did need more like backup you know because even things that I felt, as a woman … somebody can’t understand your point of view because they’re not coming from where you come from. So that was hard for me too, to be the only woman there.”

DJ Envy—who hosted the Breakfast Club with Yee and Charlamagne tha God—responded to the clip shared by The Shade Room. He insisted Yee’s comments were “just not true,” and claimed “there are plenty of women that work behind the scenes on [The Breakfast Club].”

Elsewhere in the interview, Yee said a perk of doing a solo show was that she was only responsible for her own comments. She told Tamron she was always held accountable for her co-hosts’ controversial takes, and would often get the brunt of the backlash.

“Sometimes I would feel like I got it harder than [Charlamagne tha God] did for some things that he said,” Yee explained. “And so I also want to make it clear that we’re all three individuals. You say what you say, feel how you feel, and I do too. But it’s hard because people affiliate you with the whole group.”

Lil Mama also weighed in on the interview, claiming Yee was not as innocent as she claimed to be.

“Oh PLEASE. She was up there playing foul games too,” the artist commented. “She has helped make multiple women (of color especially) feel like the only woman in that room numerous times.”

Yee has yet to publicly respond to Envy and Lil Mama’s comments. The Radio Hall of Fame personality now hosts Way Up with Angela Yee, which debuted last month on iHeartMedia stations.

More than 12 years after Lil Mama crashed the stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ performance at the 2009 MTV VMAs, Hov is sharing his thoughts on the viral moment.

During a recent conversation with Genius’ Rob Markman on Twitter Spaces, Jay recalled Lil Mama joining him and Alicia onstage while they played their hit “Empire State of Mind.”

When Markman asked if she was forgiven for crashing the stage, Jay responded by saying she was. “Of course, of course,” Jay said. “C’mon. Don’t do that… That’s our sister. Man, we love her. I wouldn’t recommend people just jumping on other artists’ stages…”

Hov continued, “She’s a New Yorker… She got excited. Things happen. Of course we love her… yes, she’s forgiven. It’s all love and she was coming from a place of love it’s just… may have been a little too excited.”

Jay’s comments arrive just weeks after Alicia Keys opened up about the incident during a recent interview with Complex.

“Basically, I remember absolutely nothing,” Alicia explained. “I think I was so focused on performing. Because when you perform, it’s a lot. You gotta hit it. You gotta nail it. You gotta kill it. It has to be perfect.”

She added, “When I tell you, 100 percent, I was oblivious to the idea that next to him was another person, which kind of scared the shit out of me later when I figured it out.”

Alicia also talked about the incident in another recent interview with Drink Champs.

“The truth of all the truths… all I know, we was on that stage,” Keys said. “Jay was here. I was here. In my head I was such a gorilla at the time and I was like, ‘This is what’s happening. I’m going to destroy this record tonight.’ … Somehow, however she got over here, I didn’t even bear witness to.”

She added, “The whole show I was iced… so focused on making it amazing. I went backstage and Jay was like, ‘So, you ain’t see that?’ And I was like, ‘What?’ And he was like, ‘Nah, you ain’t just see what just happened?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, we killed it. That’s what happened.’”

Elsewhere during Keys’ Twitter Spaces discussion with Jay-Z, the 4:44 rapper said that he doesn’t think anyone can compete with him in a Verzuz battle.

“No one can stand on that stage with me,” Jay said when asked if he’d potentially get in the Verzuz ring against an opponent. “It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me… You got to stand in front of the ‘Grammy Family Freestyle’ live? No one has ever even seen me perform that, you got to stand in front of that? That ain’t never going to happen.”

Alicia Keys’ new 26-track double album Keys, which features appearances from Pusha-T, Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, Khalid, Lucky Daye, and Brandi Carlile, is out now. Head here to stream it.

Lil Mama is looking to start a “heterosexual rights movement.”

The 31-year-old entertainer made the announcement earlier this week amid mounting backlash over a series of transphobic comments. Lil Mama explained the movement was necessary to protect herself, and other heterosexuals, from being bullied by the LGBTQ+ community.

“Y’all fight so hard to be respected and SOME of you, NOT ALL, get a kick out bullying people for having an option, how they dress, how their hair and or makeup looks, how much money they have, etc,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “There are so many people afraid to give their honest opinion (sic) because if they do the LGBTQ+ will hear what they want to hear and take statements out of context. I don’t have to prove myself by reminding people that I have loved ones of the LGBTQ+ Community. When I speak I’m not trying to hurt anyone, I’m just speaking my truth, just like you all.”

Lil Mama caught heat earlier this month when she shared her thoughts on transgender children, and suggested that being transgender was “depopulation at any cost.” She shared a tweet that read: “So children are too young to smoke cigarettes, too young to drink alcohol, too young to get a driver’s license, too young to go to a club, too young to gamble, too young to rent a car, but old enough to cut off their genitals and/or ‘change’ their gender? This is insanity America.” The post came shortly after Michelle Obama’s interview with Zaya Wade—Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s 13-year-old trans daughter.

As the criticism began pouring in, many Twitter users pointed out that Lil Mama had a history of making transphobic comments. Some pointed to a 2009 clip from MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew in which she was critical of transgender dancer/choreographer Leiomy Maldonado.

“Leiomy, come on. Your behavior, it’s unacceptable,” said Lil Mama, who judged the competition series for seven seasons. “I just feel that you always have to remember your truth. “You were born a man and you are becoming a woman. If you’re going to become a woman, act like a lady… You know what I’m saying? It gets too crazy and it gets confusing.”

Maldonado, who is now a judge on HBO Max’s Legendary, responded to the backlash via Twitter on Friday:
