Chick-fil-A Will Sell Bottles of Its Popular Sauces in Florida Grocery Stores

Written by on March 11, 2020

Florida Chick-fil-A lovers’ wildest dreams are coming true: the fast-food chain’s popular sauces will now be available for purchase in retail stores.

On Wednesday, the chicken chain announced that it’s launching a pilot program to begin selling sauces in Florida in April, USA Today reports. All of the state’s Publix, Target, Walmart, and Winn-Dixie stores will carry 16-ounce bottles of the signature Chick-fil-A sauce and the Polynesian sauce. This is the first time the chain will be selling products in stores.

Each bottle will be priced at $3.49, with proceeds from the sales going to Chick-fil-A’s scholarship fund for employees, the Remarkable Futures Scholarship Initiative. Starting in mid-March, catering orders made by Florida customers will also include eight-ounce bottles of the signature, Polynesian, Barbeque, Honey Mustard, and Garden Herb Ranch sauces.

According to the restaurant, the pilot’s results “will help determine next steps for a possible nationwide rollout of Bottle Sauce retail sales later this year.”

Chick-fil-A also hopes the strategy will extend to people outside of the eatery. “Increasingly, our customers are searching for ways to enjoy our brand at home,” Michael Patrick, principal program lead for Chick-fil-A’s Beyond the Restaurant team, told CNN Business. “Our customers love our sauces,” he added. “Chick-fil-A Sauce and Polynesian Sauce are our two most popular sauces, which is why these flavors are leading the way.”
