Colin Kaepernick Reaches Settlement with NFL

Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid have settled their complaint of collusion against the NFL. Lawyers for both players and the NFL announced that they came to a settlement on Friday.

In a statement announcing the settlement of the lawsuit, the NFL and lawyers for the players stated, “For the the past several months, counsel for Mr. Kaepernick and Mr. Reid have engaged in an ongoing dialogue with representatives of the NFL. As a result of those discussions, the parties have decided to resolved the pending grievances.” Due to a confidentiality agreement, the official settlement will not be made public.
