Cristale Drops Debut EP ‘What It’s Like To Be Young’

South London rhymer Cristale has been marked out as one to watch for a little while now—a prediction she’s vindicated several times over with a string of rap scene hits including “Morgan”, “Merryland”, and “Militant”—and now she’s ready with her debut EP, What It’s Like To Be Young.
The new seven-tracker feature all three of those big singles along with four fresh originals. With no featured artists on any of the tracks and production coming solely from ZEL, this is well and truly the Cristale show.
Just before the EP dropped, Cristale also revealed visuals for EP closer “13 Going On 30”, which comes courtesy of Dir. Lx. As lively and well-focused as the EP itself, the video shows a frustrated Cristale on the sidelines, itching to prove herself on the pitch, before they all relocate for chicken and ice cream.
