DaBaby & NBA YoungBoy Drop “Neighborhood Superstar,” Reveal Collab Project
Written by SOURCE on February 25, 2022
After joining forces on a few tracks, DaBaby and YoungBoy Never Broke Again have offered up “Neighborhood Superstar” and announced a collaborative project is coming soon. Due out next Friday (March 4), the project is entitled Better Than You and will feature nine songs, including “Neighborhood Superstar” and the previously released “Hit.”
News of the project comes not long after YoungBoy teased his next mixtape, Realer 2, with the release of his song “Opposite.” Last month, he dropped Colors, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with 79,000 equivalent album units. He also hasn’t shied away from controversy, with YoungBoy seemingly dissing Lil Durk on “I Hate YoungBoy.” The song also included shots at Durk’s fiancée, Gucci Mane, and the late King Von, among others.
DaBaby, meanwhile, recently showed up at Kanye West’s Donda 2 event to accompany Ye for his song “Jail” from the original Donda. He’s also facing a lawsuit from DaniLeigh’s brother following a fight with him in a bowling alley, although his lawyers have since dismissed the case as a “quick money grab.”
While we wait for Better Than You to arrive next Friday, listen to “Neighborhood Superstar” below.
