It’s been a big year for Dave East.
In addition to starring on Hulu’s miniseries Wu-Tang: An American Saga, the 31-year-old Harlem rapper has kept fans satisfied with a number of records, including collaborations with Gunna and Max B. East will maintain the momentum heading into 2020, as he has announced the release date for his much-anticipated debut album Survival.
The rapper confirmed the news on social media this week, posting the project’s official trailer.
East spoke about Survival during a sitdown with Tim Westwood back in August. The rapper confirmed Nas was serving as the album’s executive producer and that it would include the aforementioned Gunna (“Everyday”) and Max B (“Wanna Be a G”) collaborative tracks. East’s newly released single, “Alone” featuring Jacquees, will also appear on the project.
Survival is expected to drop Nov. 8. East will kick off the album’s supporting tour next week, followed by stops in Atlanta, D.C., Boston, Paris, and Berlin. Check out the dates below.
