Denzel Curry Drops ‘ZUU’ Album f/ Rick Ross, Sam Sneak, and More
Written by SOURCE on May 31, 2019
Denzel Curry’s ZUU album is an ode to Florida.
The 12-track project not only explores the good and bad aspects of Curry’s home state, it is also includes assists from fellow Florida rappers PlayThatBoiZay, Kiddo Marv, Sam Sneak, Ice Billion Berg, and Rick Ross.
“The majority of the tracks, I was talking about where I was from, where I grew up around,” Curry told HotNewHipHop this week. “[…] It’s all Dade County. It’s all Miami. Ya’ll seen what Broward’s doing already. So ya’ll need to see what Dade n***as is about. I wanted to make my version of The Chronic.”
ZUU arrives less than a year after Curry released his breakout project TA13OO. The album, which includes the previously released singles “Ricky” and “Speedboat,” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
You can also catch Curry on the road throughout 2019 with Billie Eilish and $uicideBoy$. Take a look at his upcoming tour dates below.
