Derrick Rose was on fire on Wednesday night.
He scored a career high of 50 points against the Utah Jazz and helped to propel his team, which was without Jimmy Butler, to victory. Rose’s previous career high was 42 points from a March 2011 game against the Indiana Pacers.
Rose, who got six assists and four rebounds during the contest, also provided a crucial block of Dante Exum’s shot to maintain the Timberwolves‘ lead against the Jazz in the final seconds of the game. The final score was 125-128.
Following the game, Rose gave an emotional interview in which he talked about how significant it all was.
