‘Desus & Mero’ Announce Showtime Premiere Date

Desus and Mero will be returning to late night in the new year.
The pair took to social media to announce that their show Desus & Mero, which will be on Showtime, will premiere on February 21 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. The late night program will air weekly on Thursdays. The duo’s previous show was on Viceland.

The brand is stronger than ever and we look forward to continuing to make amazing, authentic television that will make your wiggington explode,” Desus Nice previously said, per the Hollywood Reporter. “I’m excited to be joining a network with such a strong foundation and track record of producing fuegooooo and to break new ground with a late-night comedy show,” The Kid Mero added.
Desus Nice, The Kid Mero, Lilly Burns, Tony Hernandez, and Victor Lopez will act as executive producers of the show with Jax Media producing. Showtime describes the series as being “the first ever weekly late-night talk show on Showtime” and say it “will feature popular TV and podcast personalities Desus and Mero, speaking highly off the cuff and chatting with guests at the intersection of pop culture, sports, music, politics and more.”
