Dillon Brooks Says He ‘Can’t Wait’ Until Andre Iguodala Is Traded From Grizzlies

It looks like things are getting a bit heated after reports of Andre Iguodala saying he will sit out the rest of the season if the Memphis Grizzlies don’t trade him to an agreed-upon team surfaced. Iguodala has yet to play for Memphis after he was traded last summer.
On Monday, Dillon Brooks told reporters he’s looking forward to seeing the former Warriors player and Finals MVP on another team so that they can “show him really what Memphis is about.” Prior to that, Brooks called Iggy “a great player.” He continued, “I feel like he’s doing the right thing for his career, but we don’t really care… It’s not a distraction at all. I laugh at that type of stuff.”
Ja Morant and De’Anthony Melton then took to Twitter to echo the statement through the use of emojis.
The NBA trade deadline is on Thursday, Feb. 6.
