Disney+’s launch on Nov. 12 will come with a slew of new releases, such as the first ever Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, plus the live-action Lady and the Tramp, featuring the voices of Tessa Thompson, Janelle Monáe, and Justin Theroux. Also on the docket: High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and The World According to Jeff Goldblum.
On Friday, Disney took to Twitter to make the announcements and posters, which also include Noelle starring Bill Hader and Anna Kendrick. While these title announcements were previously made by Disney, it was unknown when they would release. The new streaming platform is set to house the entire Disney motion picture library, as well as Marvel originals and spinoffs.
Disney+ will offer a streaming bundle of Disney+, ESPN+, and the ad-supported version of Hulu for only $12.99 per month, which is the same price for Netflix‘s most popular plan, signaling another huge blow to the streaming giant as the pool of on-demand entertainment becomes increasingly competitive.
Individual plans for Disney+, ESPN+, and the basic tier of Hulu cost $6.99, $4.99, and $5.99, respectively, which means customers who decide to bundle the three services will save $5 each billing cycle.
