Don Cheadle hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend and used the platform to deliver some political messages alongside his jokes.
At the episode’s end, Cheadle sported a red and white, vintage Soviet Union hockey jersey with the letters CCCP across the front. As the credits rolled, Cheadle revealed the back of the jersey, which featured “Trump” and the number “45.”
That wasn’t his only piece of political gear. Cheadle wore a t-shirt that said, “Protect Trans Kids,” as he introduced the night’s musical guest, Gary Clark Jr.

For its part, SNL continued taking shots at Trump and the current political climate. Alec Baldwin reprised his role as the president and joked about Trump’s “fake” national emergency declaration.
“We have a tremendous amount of drugs flowing into the country from the southern border—or the brown line as many people have asked me not to call it,” Baldwin said. “That’s why we need wall. Because wall works. Wall makes safe.”
Trump took to Twitter on Sunday morning to chastise the show, writing, “Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!”
