Drake Speaks on OVO Fest Ticket Price Complaints

Drake, fresh off the nostalgic Care Package release, has offered some succinct words of clarification regarding the previously-reported-on-with-urgency topic of OVO Fest attendance costs.
As spotted by HNHH early Wednesday, Drake’s response landed on a post from a frustrated critic of the costs associated with attending the 2019 return of the festival, further declaring Drake “not a 6 god at all” due to him showing up to schools in the United States and giving money to “random people.”
Speaking specifically on the festival ticket prices portion of this batch of criticism, Drake commented he “can’t control resale prices.”
Drake announced the OVO Fest comeback back in June while celebrating Raptors-related successes.
“I hope that all these guys will join me this year because we’re bringing OVO Fest back, so I hope we can go crazy,” Drake said at the time, speaking to attendees of a championship-celebrating get-together. “I go by the name of Drake. I love each and every one of y’all. I hope you enjoy this moment.”
The lineup for the festival, which went down earlier this month, included B2K, Chingy, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, and more. Drake also brought out a number of special guests including Meek Mill and Cardi B. Night 2 attendees also got word that something new from PARTYNEXTDOOR was on the way.
