Drake’s Dad May Soon Land a Reality Dating Show

Do you or someone you know have what it takes to become Drake‘s stepmom? Well, we have some big news for you: The rapper’s dad, Dennis Graham, is reportedly in talks to land his very own reality show that will follow his search for true love.
Insiders tell TMZ that Graham and TV producer David Weintraub have spent the last week pitching the series to multiple networks. In addition to the romance element, the show is expected to provide an inside look at Graham’s over-the-top lifestyle: “clubbing, driving expensive cars and of course, all the fringe benefits of being Drake’s pops.”
Sources say Graham and Weintraub are expected to land a deal sometime next week, as Vice and WE tv have expressed strong interest in securing the series. It’s also unclear what kind of tone and format the show will have. A competition-like program with eliminations? A more personal, authentic docuseries? Or something we’ve never seen before. Whatever route the producers take, we’re sure it’ll be entertaining.
Graham made headlines last month after he claimed Drake lied about their relationship in the interest of selling music. Graham insisted he was never an absentee father, contrary to what fans have heard in Drake’s music.
“I have always been with Drake,” Graham said on Nick Cannon’s Power 106 radio show. “I said, ‘Drake why are you saying all of this different stuff about me, man? This is not cool.’ And he goes ‘Dad, it sells records.'”
Shortly after the interview, Drake posted the following message on Instagram: “Woke up today so hurt man. My father will say anything to anyone that’s willing to listen to him. It’s sad when family gets like this but what can we really do that’s the people we are stuck with … every bar I ever spit was the truth and the truth is hard for some people to accept.”
