During Sunday night’s airing of the 71st annual Emmys, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner came out to present an award for outstanding competition series. What was noticeable is that the audience laughed at an unintentionally funny line that elicited enough noticeable chuckles from the crowd to be picked up on the broadcast.
The joke that drew the reaction was this line from Kim: “Our family knows firsthand how truly compelling television comes from real people just being themselves. Telling their stories unfiltered and unscripted.”
