Emotinally Unavailable x Nike Air Force 1 High Release Date
Written by SOURCE on February 26, 2019
Detailed images of streetwear label Emotionally Unavailable’s upcoming Nike Air Force 1 High collaboration have surfaced.
The premium pair from Edison Chen and former Undefeated designer Kyubum Lee’s brand is dressed in a red canvas upper with pink chenille Swooshes outlined in white donning each side panel. A cream nylon strap features a special flip of the Nike Air logo to read “E.U. Air.” The same remixed branding also appears on the tongue tag. Emotionally Unavailable’s signature melting heart logo is stamped on each inner tongue.
Aside from all of the special branding to mark the project, the traditional lacing system has also been replaced by a silver zipper running up the tongue. White laces can still be seen running up the eyelets on either side of the tongue. Based on these photos, it is unclear if unzipping the tongue will expose a normal lacing setup.
An exact release date has yet to be revealed for the Emotionally Unavailable x Nike Air Force 1 High. Given its obvious Valentine’s Day theme, expect them to hit select accounts some time in February.
UPDATE (02/26): The Emotionally Unavailable x Nike Air Force 1 High will be released on March 14. A red canvas upper is a nod to the Nike Vandal. The collab’s main feature is its removable zipper gusset. Emotionally Unavailable’s melting heart logo can be seen on the inner tongue tag, while special co-branding dons the outer tongue and strap as well.
