Fans Anticipate Keanu vs. Keanu With ‘Matrix 4’ and ‘John Wick 4’ Dropping on Same Day

The cinematic gods have blessed us with the release of not one, but two highly-anticipated Keanu Reeves films on the same day.
Warner Bros. announced Wednesday that the untitled fourth installment in the Matrix franchise will hit theaters on May 21, 2021, putting it in a head-to-head match-up with John Wick: Chapter 4.
Matrix 4 will see Keanu reprise his role as Neo in some sort of capacity following what will be an 18-year hiatus while the 55-year-old will once again put his body on the line for sake of our entertainment when he plays John Wick for a fourth time. Since it will be tough to choose between these two films, people are already embracing the idea of seeing both movies back-to-back.
We could easily say that Keanu is winning on May 21, 2021, but it’s actually us, the moviegoers, who come away as winners. We’re getting two Keanu flicks to choose from.
