Father of Jacksonville Rapper Ksoo Will Testify Against Son in Murder Trial

Written by on May 25, 2022

The father of Jacksonville rapper Ksoo will testify against his son in the 23-year-old’s upcoming first-degree murder trial.

First Coast News reports Abdul Robinson Sr., 51, has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in the murder trial involving his son Hakeem Robinson, who goes by the stage name Ksoo.

Back in March, Hakeem was indicted on a first-degree murder charge for the 2020 murder of rapper Charles McCormick aka Lil Buck, who was killed in January 2020. Robinson Sr. has agreed to testify as a witness for the state in the McCormick case.

Ksoo was also hit with a first-degree murder charge in connection with the killing of Adrian Gainer aka Bibby, who was killed in February 2019. Ksoo has pleaded not guilty to both of the first-degree murder charges.

Robinson Sr. will also testify against his other son, Abdul Robinson Jr., who is charged with second-degree murder. Meanwhile, Robinson Sr. is charged as accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, and is facing three felony charges that could each carry sentences of 30 years in prison.

Prosecutors believe Robinson Sr. is the leader of the gang ATK or Ace’s Top Killers, with his son Hakeem allegedly serving as a member.

Ksoo, along with his brother, remain in the Duval County jail awaiting trial while Robinson Sr. has been moved.
