Having released its first Stepper silhouette in collaboration with Patta earlier this year, Manchester-based streetwear imprint Clints is continuing to add to its growing portfolio of retro-inspired designs with a new selection of Stepper sneakers.
For the project, the brand’s founder, Junior Clint, headed to Vidigal, a favela in the heart of Rio de Janeiro and teamed up with local creatives to bring the Brazilian inspiration to life.
Dubbed The Rio Pack, the capsule comprises both “Blue/Aqua” and “Green/Mustard” iterations of the brand’s signature silhouette. Using the same formula as previous designs, each sneaker is constructed from an breathable canvas and houses a an embroidered Step Correct slogan, along with a hidden zip-up pocket which serves as a mini-storage compartment.
In addition to the footwear offering, The Rio Pack also includes apparel which draws its colour inspirations from the classic design of the Brazilian flag. Featuring two ’90s-inspired jerseys in green and “Aqua Blue”, the vests come complete with imagery across the front and embroidered “Step Correct 10” branding on the reverse. A green and yellow Clints-branded belt is also featured as well as a pair of contrast stitch denim shorts.
