‘Friends’ Star Matthew Perry Gets 4.4 Million Followers in One Day After Joining Instagram

Matthew Perry has finally taken his talents to Instagram.
Perry made his Instagram debut on Friday with a post of him during his famed role as Chandler Bing from the sitcom Friends.
“This is how thrilled I am to finally be on Instagram. So, here we go,” the post reads.
In just two days, Perry has gained 4.5 million followers. 4.4 million of his followers reportedly came on the day he announced his new account.
Perry is the last member of the Friends cast to join Instagram. His emergence adds more excitement to the show’s 25th anniversary. There have been several official and unofficial celebrations, yet it is rumored that the cast will get together for an unscripted reunion special. This will not only commemorate the show’ 25th anniversary but it will also signify the launch of HBO Max which will be home to the Friends library.
Per Deadline, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Perry have already reached an agreement with Warner Bros. to do the hour-long special. Now, it seems like Perry’s new account will help stoke the fire.
